This Brownsboro reconfiguration brings to the neighborhoods on both sides of Brownsboro Road:
  • A welcoming environment
  • More efficient traffic patterns
  • A vibrant business community available to all
  • The project officially began on June 18, 2012.
  • Full lane closure will convert the four lane road to a two lane road, of which one will be eastbound and the other westbound. (The center lane will be a turn lane for both directions.) Work began Monday, June 18, 2012 at 6 p.m.

This is the completed Brownsboro Road project in late fall 2012.

It shows the cliff and its new sidewalk, the two-way turn lanes. Crossing devices are easily  found on both sides and a bus stop was relocated.
